Here we are dressed up for Abigail's roommate's 30th birthday extravaganza. Joanne wrote a play and we acted it out in the living room for ourselves...great fun. Dietrich was a bumbling midevil farmer and Abigail was a sewing wench.

Here we are, ready to head out to New Market for Nathan and Marcie's wedding renewal ceremony with Alice and Daniel

Abigail got some personal time with Annaliese

Hmm, need there be any explanation? Just fooling around

Okay, so we also took a weekend to go back to Abigail's hometown, State College, Pa. There we found this little guy at the harvest party where Abigail and her mother and sister had a booth selling crafts. This is actually Abbey's little nephew, Ethan. He's sooo cute - he also had a corn suit which was a little too restricting for him.

Here is a picture of the two aspiring young hipsters in their coolest poses - which pose/outfit do you like the best?

And so ends another blog...

The Secret Lives of Abigail and Dietrich...

Dietrich is....Nanananananananna Batman!!

Abigail's pumpkin won the contest - the theme was "the 90's" and, as Abigail explained, "who didn't throw up in the nineties." I was a little disappointed, because the other pumpkins fit the theme a little better as TMNT and pogs.

Some Adventures to Share...

Okay, so these aren't necessarily in the right order, but I will explain them as they come...

Last week we went to Jenna Bryant's 23rd birthday celebration - the theme was "dress up like you would've as a five-year-old at Halloween." Obviously, I never dressed up for Halloween, so this is what we got. We jointly won the most creative costume award even though all the credit goes to the seamstress, Miss Abigail.

In the summer we took care of Elliot and Vincent, so we took them down to Fridays on the Square - they are quite the power walkers!! This is us listening to the impressive orchestra

More recently, a few weeks ago actually, we took off for Skyline Drive with Flat Stanley. Abigail packed a lunch and we headed off. We got there before sunset and looked for a place to sit and watch it. Evidently most of the clearings are at the overlooks, so we settled in with a blanket and a stone wall and ate our Chinese food (smoked lo mein, curry chicken, and general tso's). We also enjoyed a photo op with Flat Stanley who mysteriously showed up in Peace House mail with a note to take a picture with it and send it on!! It turned out to be a beautiful sunset, but rather cold - good for snuggling!

On October 17th Abigail and I dressed to the nines to grace the Avett Brothers show at the Charlottesville Pavilion. We started with the theme "hipster" and from there we ended up at Goodwill. And this is how we went to the show!! Awesome show, by the way.
