Snowperson Meets Untimely Death

Once upon a time....there was a day of reckoning for unnamed Snowperson. There appeared to be a homicide on Old South High Street at the local "Peace House".

As you can see, it was a gruesome death involving a hoe and not a little bit of alcohol
The gender of the conquered snowperson was thrown into question by this ominous photograph
Who did such a heinous act, we shall never know
Later, this man was apprehended and brought down with a snowball to the face. According to most reports he was drunk and a little, you know, cuck-coo.
Unfortunately, all the evidence sank into the ground in the following days.

Abigail's latest crafting...

This is my first attempt at a crazy quilt...probably the most time consuming project I've yet to take on. I made it for the new baby of the family I nanny for.

Here is big brother, Simon, receiving it happily.

Dietrich's Birthday gifts...

Simon and I picked up bottle caps for months to cover this guy.

A newly upholstered Gift and Thrift find.

Here we are dressed up for Abigail's roommate's 30th birthday extravaganza. Joanne wrote a play and we acted it out in the living room for ourselves...great fun. Dietrich was a bumbling midevil farmer and Abigail was a sewing wench.

Here we are, ready to head out to New Market for Nathan and Marcie's wedding renewal ceremony with Alice and Daniel

Abigail got some personal time with Annaliese

Hmm, need there be any explanation? Just fooling around

Okay, so we also took a weekend to go back to Abigail's hometown, State College, Pa. There we found this little guy at the harvest party where Abigail and her mother and sister had a booth selling crafts. This is actually Abbey's little nephew, Ethan. He's sooo cute - he also had a corn suit which was a little too restricting for him.

Here is a picture of the two aspiring young hipsters in their coolest poses - which pose/outfit do you like the best?

And so ends another blog...
with much love,
